ALIDA is entirely handcrafted in Belgium. The country is world-renowned for their expertise in the textile industry. Our artisans work with Belgian Royal Court Suppliers, international fashion brands and celebrated designers. The country’s reputation has attracted a lot of attention for their fashion industry that emerged in the 20th century as it translated into a thriving place to create haute couture. Elevated by a standing tradition of excellence, each piece is carefully crafted to highlight the elegance of noble fabrics. All our designs are hand-drawn by our founder who knows every seam and pattern by heart. We pride ourselves in the art of our production house’s craftsmanship.
Ecological silk
Our true silk is smooth to the touch with a natural shine. Silk’s natural beauty has earned the name as queen of textiles thanks to her multifaceted generosity on the skin. It aids the body to maintain an agreeable temperature. The hypoallergenic fibres compliment all skin types as it will lay across the skin in an organic way. Her firmness is designed to be loved forever. Alida uses natural sourced silk (Certificates OEKO-TEX standard 100). Our silk is dyed in a non-toxic way that doesn’t harm the environment. Our production opted for a 22 mommes design, which means that the silk is heavier than most other brands offer. The integrity of the silk is undeniable, we invite you to try it on and deeply fall in love with it.
Transition from Day-to-Night
Our kimono and palazzo trousers are designed to be worn on every occasion. The transition from day to night is effortless from loungewear with a pair of slippers to a going-out soirée when paired with high heels. Each garment can be worn as an individual statement piece or as a stand-out set.The kimono is a perfect resortwear staple to drape elegantly over your shoulder whilst wearing your favourite bathing suit at the poolside. Alternatively, it is a great statement piece to elevate a pair of leather pants or over a bias cut skirt. The trousers are tailored at the front for a sophisticated look, while a concealed elastic band in the back allows you the freedom to run free in comfort. Most of our colours are completely interchangeable, as we selected adaptable shades, unlocking a multitude of styling possibilities and empowering you to unleash your creativity on your personal style.

The timeless design of our sets ensures longevity, these are intergenerational garments to be worn and loved forever. We take pride in the fact that our garments are 100% produced by hand in Belgium by highly skilled artisans, unlike other luxury brands, who often outsource the totality of their production outside of Europe. Our pieces are limited in stock and are made-to-order to prevent overproduction, in aims of preserving the environment by limiting textile waste. In production, we use natural, toxin-free dyes on our biodegradable silk as we stand firm in our commitment to be kind to the earth.
